Poseidon
This week for our very first show we decided to batten down the hatches and check out the new “big” movie of the week - Poseidon… Also featuring a look back at the original Poseidon movie’s soundtrack, one of John Williams earlier scores.
Aric - This movie was “OK” I suppose. There were some cool special effects, but for the most part it was just one contrived obstacle at another for them to overcome. There weren’t really any surprises or twists to it - you pretty much knew that some of them would survive, and that among the survivors would be other mother and child. After all, it’s pretty rare that Hollywood is willing to make a movie like this and not have the kid survive.
