Aric- My general take on this movie was that while it wasn’t terrible, I liked the past two better. I felt that the plot seemed a little schizoid - the Dark Phoenix part seemed entirely “bolted on” while it should have been the entire point of at least one movie… The plot that was there seemed like it could have been fine without the Dark Phoenix stuff entirely. But on the other hand it was enjoyable - unlike the past two movies we saw, I didn’t feel bored or annoyed at the movie. It just couldn’t have been better. Hence my beer choice - not a bad beer, not a great beer.
