What’s a Podcast?
A podcast is a little bit like an Internet radio show - but one that you can download and listen to on your schedule. Many people enjoy listening to podcasts at work, while working out or on their commutes to work. Each week when we release a new show we add it to “the feed” which listeners “subscribe” to. Those who have subscribed to the podcast can then download the new episode through iTunes or other podcast software.
How Do I Subscribe?
Most people use Apple’s iTunes to subscribe and listen to podcasts. It is free software and available for Mac and PC. To find our podcast on iTunes, go to the Music Store, and choose the “Podcasts” item. Then on the right side look for the search box, and type in “Taverncast.” There’s a wide variety of other podcast programs available as well - many people use the juice client, which is free and open source. Ipodder is another alternative, or just go here for a big list of available clients.
